Why I love Hollin Hall Village - I love the small-town vibe of this vibrant neighborhood located just off the scenic George Washington Parkway. Hollin Hall Village was established in 1943, with most of its development happening in the late 1940s to early 1950s, we have seen a popular trend amongst both builders and homeowners to expand and/or rebuild the original brick, ranch-style homes. Located just south of Old Town Alexandria (approx 5 miles), Hollin Hall Village offers a perfect blend of location and value, with approximately 700 single-family homes, the average lot size is approx .3 acres, and home values are approx $500,000 - $1,300,000. Hollin Hall offers a lifestyle of convenience, a sense of community, an abundance of nature, and room to grow. The main entrance to the Village is flanked by the local shops, restaurants, popular convenience stores, and "the little Safeway", as referred to by many locals. There is even a county-owned senior center, child care facility, and park with sports fields and a playground tucked behind the shops. One of my favorite things about this neighborhood is the membership-based pool (Mount Vernon Park Association) which is nestled amongst 13 wooded acres in the middle of the neighborhood. The MVPA offers swimming pools, tennis, fishing, picnic areas, and specially organized events for its membership.
